Caroline Peterson

Caroline has been a Gator for 11 years. She has been a coach for three years – a goal of hers since she was 8 when she started with the Gators.

Outside of swim team, Caroline enjoys playing soccer and softball and participating in theater. Last year, she volunteered for America Reads, a reading tutoring program where college students tutor at-risk 1st and 2nd grade students at a local elementary school.

Caroline attends William & Mary and will be pursuing a Masters in Education with a goal of becoming an elementary teacher and possibly a counselor.

JC has been with the Gators for three years and a Gator coach for the past two years. He also coaches with FH’s winter swim program. Previously, he swam on a swim team in Bangladesh for five years and before that he swam with Franklin Knolls in Silver Spring where he was an assistant swim instructor.

His favorite pastime is playing his bass guitar and hiking. He played in AHS jazz ensemble last year.

He will be a senior this year and is already looking at colleges. In preparation for college, he might start some courses at NOVA. He is interested in international development and environmental issues.
