Most of us have heard of the elusive Golden Skimmer Award….but few of us have actually seen one! Well, that’s about to change. Our beloved lifeguard staff is the most recent recipient of the coveted NVPools Golden Skimmer Award. The award is given to the Pool staff for outstanding safety, sanitation and compliance with policies. In addition, this instance of the award goes above and beyond to recognize our team for outstanding cooperation and teamwork.
This summer, our Gator Guards are led by Carolyn Fonzi. She runs a tight ship, and we all benefit from her hard work. But she has not done it alone. We are fortunate to have a complete team of professional guards and pool operators — some neighbors, some members and a few friendly new faces, too.
Therefore, in honor of this well-deserved award, it gives me great pleasure to hereby declare this Saturday, July 20, 2013, FHSC LifeGuard Appreciation Day! Join me in saying thank you and congratulations to all our guards for their hard work, commitment to safety, and willingness to face the elements so we can enjoy Forest Hollow!
