We will have the first “B” meet of the season on Monday, June 16th with our neighbors, Annandale Swim and Tennis. We had great swims at our time trials so I am looking forward to building on all of those good results.
A couple of notes:
- This meet is at Annandale Swim and Tennis: 7530 Little River Turnpike Annandale, VA 22003. The Gator caravan will leave the pool our pool promptly at 4:50PM. If you are driving directly, all attending swimmers need to be at Annandale Swim and Tennis and ready to jump into the pool (caps and goggles on) by 5:10PM.
- Swimmers that did not swim time trials are strongly encouraged to attend this meet so we can get a time that we can use in seeding our first A meet. School is still going for most of us so there is no morning practice to discuss selected strokes to swim with their coaches, it is important that all swimmers arrive on time.
- Gator Team Spirit means lots of Gator Green on deck and in the spectator area and Gator Swim Team Caps only for our swimmers.
- Many of our Mini Gators have not started practice. As is the tradition at our first meet, we will not be holding kick board or assisted swim events. Only swimmers that can complete 25 meters unassisted will be allowed to swim at this meet.
- There is no evening practice on Monday!
