B Meet Monday, July 6 @ Forest Hollow

Forest Hollow will close for set up at 4:00PM. Feel free to ask the coaches or Bob what needs to be done as we put set up the flags, chairs, bleachers, lane lines, clerk of course and so forth. We need your help if you are available. We plan to modify our meet set up as we did Saturday, avoiding the muddy grass. Parents are reminded to stay clear of the clerk of course area, no matter where it is located.

Our Mini Gators that can swim an unassisted kickboard will be swimming at this meet. Please check with your Gator coaches to make certain your swimmer has been approved for this event. Only swimmers that can complete 25 meters without help will be allowed to enter the kickboard event. No “assisted” swim events will be conducted at this meet.

Let’s be gracious hosts and leave Parklawn as much parking as possible. If you can, please walk or carpool to the meet. Parking is NOT permitted on Old Columbia Road. You will be towed. Be careful of the muddy grassy areas.

All attending swimmers need to be at Forest Hollow and ready to jump into the pool (caps and goggles on) by 4:50PM. Gator warmup begins promptly at 5:00PM.

Our order of events will be unassisted kickboard, freestyle, back stroke, breast, butterfly and then concluding the night with IM.

Remember 2 events maximum (plus IM) and if a swimmer placed in the A meet they do not swim that event in the B Meet. Young Gators, please do not try to swim an IM until you are confident that you have mastered all 4 strokes.

Last check we still needed volunteers for ALL of our spots (timers, concessions and so on). This is a great opportunity for service, plus you get a front row view of all the action! Step up, don’t be shy.

Also, be sure to support our team by having dinner at our locally renowned Gator Grill. Love those Gator Taters!

You may also bring your own chairs to sit on. Your swimmers should bring a least 2 towels and or a blanket. Bugs might be out so bug spray is also an option. Please check the lost and found as goggles, swim caps, clothing and towels are piling up
