Our next B Meet is going to be this Monday 7/18/16. This is an AWAY meet, at Dowden Terrace Pool. The address is:
6300 Holmes Run Parkway, Alexandria, VA 22311
Our team warm-up is 5:25-5:45. So swimmers, please be there in time to jump in the pool at 5:20. Dowden Terrace parking is limited, so please allow time for parking in the neighborhood. Dowden Terrace asks that if you are able to park in their lot, pull all the way into the spot, as close to the fence as possible.
DT will have their grill/snack bar up and running.
They will be doing IM’s, and they will run the IM’s first, before the Freestyle. They will also be having 6&U events in free and back, but these are NOT assisted/kickboard races. Swimmers have to be able to make it the full 25 meters on their own. Check with Natalie and Lauren if you have questions regarding this.
VOLUNTEERS:
Even in an away meet, we need volunteers. This includes timers, stroke and turn officials, marshalls, Clerk of Course, table workers. It takes a village….
